Playa Vista 90094 is an urban master planned community in the Westside of the City of Los Angeles. It is located north of LAX, south of Marina Del Rey and Venice, west of the 405 Freeway and just east of the Westchester Bluffs. It is one of the most upscale and in demand LA neighborhoods right now and for many considered the heart of Silicon Beach.

Prior to the development of Playa Vista, the area was the headquarters of Hughes Aircraft Company from 1941 to 1985, and was the site of the construction of the Hughes H-4 Hercules "Spruce Goose" aircraft (for those who saw the movie The Aviator).
The current development began in 2002 as a planned community with residential, commercial, and retail components.
The community has become a choice address for businesses in technology, media and entertainment and, along with Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Westchester and Venice, has recently seen rapid price appreciation. The Wall Street Journal highlighted Playa Vista as the perfect place for creative entrepreneurs working from home.
At Playa Vista you can find everything from high end rental units to attached and detached Townhomes. Prices range from under $1,000,000 for resale condos up to over $3,000,000 for new construction Single Family Residences.
As of mid 2017, there are currently both resale homes for sale as well as new construction still being built. Each building or group or homes is its own micro market with somewhat different pricing assumptions.
