WHAT IS A MARKET REPORT?

  • A market report is a snapshot in time of a specific city, neighborhood, price range or property type.
  • You can view the ones that have already been set up, create your own, or sign up for periodic updates.
  • Reports can be one city at a time or select multiple locations.
  • You can also limit it to a certain property type such as Townhomes or SFRs or set price or other parameters.

For the example report below we are looking at 10 listings at a time and a 30 day time frame. In some situations it makes more sense to look at 60 days, 90 days or even 180 days. The first section are currently active listings, followed by properties under contract (meaning in escrow) and finally the sold properties during the defined search period. Under each section you will see category summaries. You can toggle to the next list in any section and then drill down to a specific property to learn more.
